Deborah Kershaw has been a great help for the college application process. Alongside helping with the actual components of an application (such as touching up essays and giving suggestions on what to include), Mrs. Kershaw also helps students and parents alike understand the college application process. Instead of telling me to fill out a template or do what others before me have done, Mrs. Kershaw encouraged me to make my application unique to me and accurate, while still being appealing to colleges. She is a great person to bounce ideas off of for your essays, and she is very nice and helpful. She also helps with understanding financial aid tools (such as the FAFSA) and what to do after getting accepted. I would recommend Mrs. Kershaw to anyone who feels like a fish out of water in the college application scene.

Deborah Kershaw has been a godsend throughout my daughter’s college application process from SAT / ACT strategy to choosing schools, and guidance writing college applications and figuring out financial aid.  As a busy working single mother of an ambitious daughter,  I did not have enough time to figure this out on my own.   Having Deborah on our side as an advocate and guiding my daughter and I, answering our questions, and being a cheerleader has taken a huge weight off my shoulders as a parent.   Deborah knows how to connect and reach my daughter, build confidence, set realistic expectations and guide her throughout the college application process.
